The 4 Letter Internet Domain Dior.com was registered october 10 1995 and is hold in the name of Parfums Christian Dior Paris. Parfums Christian Dior have a relatively small Domain Portfolio of 167 domains including some perfumes like Miss Dior.com or Eau Sauvage.com but missing other perume brands and the prestigious 2 Letter domain CD.com The initials of Christian Dior CD.com were registered at a rather !! early time February 20 1992 by ??. Only few people knew at the time that it was possible to register domain names. Howether 2006 july 11 the domain CD.com came on public auction and it was bought for only 277,750 Dollars by a domain Investor. October 15 2010 it was sold again to Bank Rate Inc, a large Domain Investor in the financial World based in Palm Beach, Florida. Bank Rate.com is known to be Internet savy and now operates the Two Letter Domain CD.com as a information site about Bank Loans, next to Credit Cards.com and other high profile internet properties in the bank and insurance sector. To Buy CD.com now will be more difficult ... Not sure if Christian Dior would be happy to see his famous "CD" now stand for "Certificate of Deposit" Interest Rates instead of having CD.com lead to his creations. |
